Die aims of the
Foundation are clearly defined; their attainment is supervised by the
Council and Swiss federal instances. Our aims are the following:
- Support of young researchers in Hepatology
- Purchase and maintenance of research equipment
at institutes devoted to research in liver diseases
- Support of research projects examining causes
and treatments of liver diseases which are not funded by the
pharmaceutical industry, the Swiss National Foundation for Scientific
Research or the European Union
- Innovative postgraduate education of physicians
in Hepatology
